These terms govern your use of our repair and installation services. Please read carefully before scheduling any work.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Omega Doors & Windows services (including sliding door repair, window installation, and maintenance), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Binding Agreement

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the homeowner/client) and Omega Doors & Windows. Scheduling a service call or approving a quote confirms your acceptance of these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to authorize repairs
You must own the property or have authorization from the owner
You agree to provide accurate access information

2. Service Description

We provide door and window maintenance services in Fort Lauderdale and South Florida. Our services include:

Repairs: Replacement of rollers, tracks, locks, handles, and glass
Installations: Fitting of new impact windows, sliding doors, and garage doors
Maintenance: Alignment, lubrication, and weatherstripping services
Emergency Service: Urgent security repairs for broken locks or glass

We reserve the right to refuse service if the work environment is unsafe or if the repair is not structurally feasible.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

Our pricing and payment process follows these terms:

Estimates: Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
Service Call Fee: A diagnostic fee applies to repair visits, which may be credited towards work
Payment Due: Payment is due immediately upon completion of service
Deposits: Custom orders (e.g., impact windows) require a non-refundable deposit

Unforeseen Issues

Occasionally, hidden damage (e.g., rotted subfloors under tracks) is discovered during repair. If additional work is required, we will obtain your approval for any price adjustments before proceeding.

4. Scheduling and Access

Our service appointments operate under the following conditions:

Service Area: We serve Broward and Miami-Dade counties
Arrival Windows: We provide a 2-4 hour arrival window for appointments
Clear Access: Please clear furniture and curtains away from the work area
Adult Presence: An adult (18+) must be present during the service

Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed appointments without notice may incur a service fee.

5. Warranty & Liability

We stand by our work with specific warranty terms:

Repair Warranty: We offer a limited warranty on parts and labor (refer to invoice for details)
Installation Warranty: New installations come with manufacturer warranties plus our labor guarantee
Exclusions: Warranty does not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, or Acts of God (hurricanes)
Property Protection: We are insured for accidental damage to your property

Existing Damage

We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing structural damage• Paint or stucco damage during removal• Alarm sensors (must be reset by alarm co.)• Hidden mold or termite damage

6. Permits & HOA

Compliance with local regulations is a shared responsibility:

Permits: We handle permit applications for jobs that require them (e.g., new windows)
Permit Fees: Permit fees are paid by the client unless stated otherwise
HOA Approval: Obtaining HOA/Condo Board approval is the homeowner's responsibility

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes, the following process applies:

Direct Communication: First attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication with management
Governing Law: All disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Florida
Jurisdiction: Courts in Broward County, FL have exclusive jurisdiction
